The International Symposium on Occupational and Environmental Allergy and Immune Diseases 2010 (ISOEAID’10) is convening to discuss occupational and environmental allergy and immune diseases for an understanding of pathophysiology, treatment and prevention.

ISOEAID'10 will be hosted by the Allergy and Immunotoxicology Scientific Committee of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH). The Chairperson of our Scientific Committee is Prof. Mario Di Gioacchino (Prof di Medicina del Lavoro ed Allergologia, Università "G. d'Annunzio", Chieti, Italy) and the Secretary General is Prof. Takemi Otsuki (Department of Hygiene, Kawasaki Medical School, Kurashiki, Japan).

I, Prof. Otsuki, am the Symposium President and it will be my special pleasure to meet with international researchers in this field.

We are pleased to invite Dr. K. Kogi, President of ICOH, to present a keynote speech (Opening Remarks) at the beginning of this symposium. The symposium will be organized in the form of several oral sessions focused on topics in this field by selected researchers, and includes poster sessions representing general papers.

The symposium will be held in KYOTO, Japan. This city is one of the most famous cities of Japan, allowing visitors to experience a traditional Japanese atmosphere in all places of KYOTO.

The symposium will be held from April 7 to 9, 2010. I hope you will be able to attend the symposium and also enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in KYOTO.

Please consider participating in this symposium to enjoy both the scientific presentations and the beautiful scenes of the Japanese spring.

Sincerely yours,
Takemi Otsuki
